With the brakets made i had to decide how to mount them to the firewall, i though about using self tapping screws, bolts or rivets, eventually i decided on using sikaflex, the brakets had a long length that would give a good bond to the firewall, and if they didnt, i could always revert back to other methods.

The small peices of wood are wedging the bracket into place until the Sikaflex cures.

The wiring was sleaved and secured under the hood stop lip, i tapped off the internal lighting to take a feed to the back lights, and from the windscreen wiper motor for a switched positive.

In April's installment i will be making up seating brackets to fit the new Recaro seats.
