The birdcage parts were winging their way from CA in the US, i asked the seller to send over some pictures of certain areas of the birdcage for me to view before i purchased the parts.

The pictures above are the places to look for rot in the front of the birdcage, these parts comming from CA haven't seen much rain and were in very good condition.

I would recommend checking these areas before buying a Vette, the work involved to rectify the problem is very time consuming and expensive.
