The near side was tacked and in place, the offside was fixed using the same methods, the windscreen frame was next to be installed.

I tacked the windscreen peices together and cut away the old frame using the same cuts as the new peices, at the T top junction i ground and drilled out the welds so the new windscreen top section could be welded in as original and ensure the strength this section requires.

The T tops were fitted to ensure the windscreen frame was aligned properly, we later fitted the doors to check the fit to the windscreen side frame, door shuts and window to T top.

Once we were happy the frame was in the correct location and all the measurements lined up we welded the frame in place and ground back to leave a nice smooth finish.

The near side being welded up.

I sandblasted the whole frame, floor pans and underside ready for 2 coats of POR15 and chassis black.
